Leverage Mentoring

I've been helping speakers to build their Web sites and grow their businesses for over nine years, and it has been a very enjoyable experience.

During that time, I've discovered that the way in which I can give most value to clients is not by being "just another Web designer". Rather, it's been the way I can help people create leverage from their ideas and products.

That's where the Leverage Mentoring package comes in.

Who is it for?

The Leverage Mentoring package is ideal for "information experts" - people who sell information products and services. This includes speakers, facilitators, trainers, seminar presenters, coaches, authors and consultants.

If you're an information expert, you have:

  • A message - some unique information that you have developed to share with the world

  • A market - an established network of people you can reach who want to hear your message, are willing to pay for it.

What is the core package?

Leverage Mentoring is a 90-day consulting program where I'll work closely with you to help you identify your target markets, and then create products and services that build on your expertise to meet the market requirements.

The package has a range of activities. I'll explain some of the key features and how they will increase your value in the marketplace.

Leverage Plan

I've discovered that most business owners don't deal with their product/service suite in a logical way. Although you might start off with the best of intentions, it's easy to get distracted and side-tracked with other parts of your business.

That's why we will start by developing a Leverage Plan for your business - including specific action items - and making sure that it fits your business strategy. This plan will form the basis of our work during the rest of the program.

We'll look at leveraging your business in a number of ways, such as:

  • Finding gaps in your product suite
  • Choosing the best sequence for developing products and services
  • Adding massive value to your products and services, for little cost
  • Advising you on how to create new products quickly
  • Identifying new markets and market niches for your business

Mentoring Sessions

Over the next three months, we'll have an hourly scheduled phone consultation every month. These regular sessions are designed to keep you on track with executing your plan. At the end of each session, I'll send you an audio recording for your reference. You will also develop a "Next Steps" report of action steps from the session.

Additional Access

The mentoring program is based on access, not on hourly rates. The scheduled phone sessions are to keep us focussed, but you also have access to me at other times as well. I'll be available when you require help, and I'll keep you front of my mind when I find new opportunities.

I'll give you a special e-mail address and my mobile phone number, so that you get priority access to me outside our scheduled sessions.

You can also send me material to review - whether it's in the form of products, marketing material, e-books, newsletters, whatever.

What else is in the package?

In addition to the core mentoring package described above, I'll also do my best to give you additional products and services to help you accelerate your growth. Here are some examples.

"Step Up" Series

I have created a series of CDs called "Step Up", where I interview other experts on how to create leverage through time, money, systems, networks and ideas. You'll get immediate access to the Step Up series at the start of the program.

I know that it's one thing to have a whole bunch of ideas for creating new products and services; it's another thing altogether to put them into practice.

I've created a series of "Quick Steps" guides, taking you step by step through the process of many aspects of leverage, such as:

  • How to create audio products easily
  • How to publish your expertise in a Web log, or "blog"
  • How to out-source work easily and cost-effectively
  • How to create CD products by interviewing other experts

As part of your Leverage Mentoring package, you'll get copies of all of these Quick Steps guides.

Products

Whenever I release other new information products - whether it's a book, CD, on-line membership site, or something else - you will get a complimentary copy as soon as it's available.

Plus other things I haven't mentioned yet ...

I don't know everything that our time together will bring, but I promise you that as a Leverage Mentoring member, you'll get advance notice, priority access, special rates and more added value than anybody else!

Is this right for you?

The Leverage Mentoring package is an intensive programme. It will require you to take some big steps during the 90 days, and I will hold you accountable.

That means that it's not for everybody.

To get maximum value from the package, I believe that you need four things:

  • Clarity around your ideas - that is, your unique intellectual property - so that we can leverage those ideas into new products and services.
  • An established database of existing clients, so that you have at least one way of distributing your new material.
  • At least one support person in your office (or a "virtual assistant" who works from elsewhere), who can take care of the implementation and project management. However, you can do it all yourself if you're willing to invest your time for the next 100 days.
  • Sufficient cash flow to invest in the package and the ongoing leverage opportunities that arise from the package.

What do you do next?

Your investment for the Leverage Mentoring package is in three parts:

  • $1,500 + GST when we start
  • $1,500 + GST at the end of 30 days
  • $1,500 + GST at the end of 60 days

Your total investment over the 90 days is $4,500 plus GST.
